I have studied a lot of applications over the last few years and found most don't quite fulfill my requirements. Most are very well presented but the bottom line is they didn't quite go far enough and in some cases over complicate the details, Pointless functionality only adds to confusion.
I decided to write my own and thought they might be useful for others.
I spent a while talking with people that use these sort of applications to find out what was important to them, what they actually wanted and expected. What their ideas were on a friendly user interface. I listened and noted.

It is pointless producing applications that are graphically and programatically very nice, very flash and great fun to program but very hard to use and to understand. For a game these are important but not for an application that you want to use to answer a question or store your data.
The following applications are intended to be easy to use, easy to get the result and intuiatuive. some will require a brief explanation but hopefully once used will seem natural in the way data is entered and presented.
Some user interfaces will be slightly more complex than others, I have tried to make the application tell you when you have entered something wrong rather than trying to use what has been entered and returning an incorrect pointless answer.
